I Miss Taylor - History Teacher | Lytchett Minster School will be going on a history trip discovering the way people lived in the industrial revolution, by visiting various places to do with the topic. Miss Taylor, a history teacher who is running the journey to the Black Country; was interviewed and we asked her a few questions to dig in to the information, of what’s going to take place. It will last 3 days in early June and the children will be visiting a restructured coal mine, a recreated Victorian village, a blacksmiths and enter a working fish and chip shop, a sweet shop and a bakery. |
On the way we will be passing the suspension bridge. There will be 20-25 students and two teachers going on the trip, one male: Mr Duffin and one female: Miss Taylor, as 10+ students require one teacher per group. While we interviewed Miss Taylor she commented that the trip had changed over a period of time. It used to be a one day excursion but then, last year, was changed to 3 days because of the time of the journey. She also said that it was very enjoyable and everyone who went had told her they had an amazing time. This year the group will be staying in a hostel, close to the sites. They will learn about how much England has changed since the industrial revolution. |
