Oliver Twist by Shannon and Charlotte

In July, Lytchett Minster School will be gracing the stage with their production Oliver Twist.

The production will be performed by the lower years of the school, and directed by the drama teacher, Miss Hannibal. Miss Hannibal has always been interested in performing arts, she took drama GCSE and A level, but when she went to university she took some time out from it.

It was a few years later when Miss Hannibal then decided that she wanted to carry on with performing arts and decided to move to Dorset to fulfil what she wanted to do. She eventually joined Poole and Parkstone productions, which led her to audition for the Poole Lighthouse production of Oliver Twist. This production will take place from the 20th – 23rd of May 2009 where she will feature in the chorus.

Miss Hannibal enjoys participating and watching the play, and thought that it would be great to direct. She then saw the children in her rehearsals and decided make a production of it at Lytchett Minster School.

There is going to be a workshop on April 1st to advertise the production, and then auditions will take place after Easter. This production will take place on the 2nd of July.
